“Hello! I'm Nichole Storey, the creative force behind Nichole Storey Photography. I was born and raised in Southwest Kansas, it's the kind of place where you wave at everyone that passes by, and everyone knows your mom. It's where I learned to work hard, love hard, and that real and true connections with people are important. My photography career was born not only out of the desire for the freedom to stay home with my son, while being able to support us financially, but also the absolute need to be creative. After my son was born, I knew going back full-time as a respiratory therapist wasn’t for me, so I was racking my brain for ways to stay home with him while still making money to provide for our family. My son was 2 weeks old when the idea for a photography business fell into my lap; I just knew that, contrary to my prior beliefs, I was going to be successful at it. I looked over at my husband, told him my idea, and he immediately said, "Let's do it!" So I ordered a camera that very day and began grinding. Picking up a camera has allowed me to see the world in an entirely different way; it's more than just snapping pictures, it's creating and cultivating relationships with the people who trust you with such intimate and special moments. My style was created from the desire for my clients to look back at their images and fully be able to relive the moment, emotions, and feelings they had at that very specific time in their lives. I’ve been so fortunate to have friends already in the industry who have guided and allowed me to learn what makes a great photographer, and for them, I am forever thankful. I can’t wait to see where this career path takes me, and I wake up every day so thankful I found it.”

“Hi there! I’m Selina and my life is a lot like yours- chaotic, but beautiful. I’m a boy mom, which means my days are filled with tiny footsteps, endless snack requests, therapy appointments and the sweet mess of motherhood.

I like to consider photography as my safe place. Photos are truly the one thing we get to hold onto after the moments pass, after our babies have grown, and after the seasons shift. As a special needs mom, I know how important it is to have photos that feel real. Having images of my son that capture his true personality and spirit has been such a gift, and I want to give that to other families too.

My style is considered to be bold, colorful, and lifestyle-driven. I’ll guide you, but the real magic happens when you lean in and truly forget I’m there. It’s in the nose kisses, the belly laughs, the little hands reaching for yours and the quiet pauses that say everything without words. Those are the moments I live to capture. The ones that feel like home, like love, like life, exactly as it is right now. I document the beauty tucked inside the ordinary as a little reminder that even in the chaos, there’s beauty everywhere.”
