“I have loved taking photos for as long as I can remember and I have always wanted to pursue photography as a career. I have tried a few times to start my business, but I never felt “ready” or good enough, so I continued practicing and taking photos as a hobby.

After being a stay-at-home mom for the last 4 years, I felt ready to take the jump into the professional world again, so I launched my business at the beginning of this year. Throughout the year, I have met so many amazing people and have had some really awesome opportunities to grow my business. Finding a consistent editing style has been a challenge for me throughout the years, so that has been my focus in this first year of business. I finally feel like I have found my style in cool-toned photos that have dreamy pops of warmth.

For this shoot in particular, I wanted to create something to push my creativity, something that I hadn’t done before. So I put a mood board together, grabbed some props, and collaborated with Victoria to bring this vintage-inspired beach session to life.

My favorite thing about photography is capturing the natural moments in between poses and creating images where you can look back and feel like you are still in that moment. The hugs between family members, the laughs between kisses, the giggles of a little one, those are the moments everyone wants to remember. “
