“When I launched Belinda Jayne Photography two and a half years ago, I set out with one single, heartfelt mission (one that still guides everything I do today), and that is to help mothers feel beautiful in their own skin, while navigating a season of life where they may not feel their best. From day one, I knew that investing in a thoughtfully curated client wardrobe would be a cornerstone of that vision, transforming not only the final images, but the entire experience for the client.

My client wardrobe is filled with pieces that move beautifully, photograph effortlessly, and are designed to flatter every stage of motherhood. Watching a Mum slip into one of my pieces and seeing her posture shift a little, her confidence rise, and that quiet smile of “Wow, I feel so beautiful” is what it’s all about for me. The client wardrobe is not just about styling, it’s about creating a space where women feel seen, celebrated, and effortlessly elegant.

I feel so lucky to witness these quiet, powerful moments and capture them for mothers to cherish forever. It is such a privilege to be invited into these personal seasons of motherhood, and to create a space where women can reconnect with themselves. Every session reminds me why I started this journey in the first place and I am so grateful to be trusted with something so meaningful.”

“Based in Washington State, I first picked up a camera in high school and dabbled in photography for a few years before officially offering sessions in 2019. I graduated college in 2021 with a degree in Environmental Science, but quickly realized that career path wasn’t the right fit for me. At the beginning of 2024, I decided to go all in on growing my photography business, and I discovered that running my own business was exactly where I was meant to be. Photography became not just a passion, but a calling. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a shoot concept or pose idea come to life exactly as I envisioned, and even more so when my clients are thrilled with their final gallery. Today, I offer wedding, elopement, couples, and brand photography.

I’ve always been drawn to the fall season; it resonates deeply with me as a symbol of change, nostalgia, and the quiet beauty in transition. My style blends timeless storytelling with a modern, refined aesthetic, inspired by human connection, fashion, architecture, film, and editorial magazines. I typically work with natural light, often during golden hour, but I’ve also fallen in love with flash photography. Recently, I’ve been refining those skills and experimenting with new techniques to bring a more editorial feel to my wedding work. My go-to lenses are my trusty 50mm for portraits and the versatile 24–70mm for weddings.

My best advice for aspiring photographers? Network. My business really began to thrive once I started building relationships within the industry. Photography can feel isolating at times, but connecting with others, whether through social media or in-person events, opens doors. I believe strongly in community over competition, and helping other photographers and vendors along the way has been one of the most rewarding and impactful parts of my journey.”
