“Lately, I’ve been really drawn to creating raw looking images that capture and tell a unique story. A family fishing together, a mother rocking her baby in a small pocket of light in her bedroom, a couple embracing new life that they’re bringing into the world together. I’ve been working at using light in unique ways that help to tell a story whether it is direct light or window light that creates dramatic shadows. I think it really helps to add to the emotion in a session and take it to the next level. I’m still learning to embrace these different lighting scenarios and getting exciting about “challenging” light rather than shy away from them because they don’t feel “normal”. Anytime I’ve pushed a boundary, it’s paid off for me so I’m hoping 2026 brings much more of that for me and this business.”

“I’m a photographer who travels up and down Australia’s east coast, whose work is rooted in genuine connection: whether that’s connection to yourself, to nature, or to the people you love around you. Growing up I was always drawn to the outdoors, and that sense of adventure still shapes my photography today. Photography has always been my way of honouring this quiet but powerful flow of energy, and it’s what continues to inspire me every day.
My creative process starts long before I pick up my camera. I spend time learning my clients' stories, understanding what matters to them, and brainstorming thoughtful details that I can include in every session. That early level of trust means the session itself can be something more meaningful.
When I first started photography I was hesitant to use sunlight and contrast. That seems strange for me to think back on now, as I’ve grown into a style that embraces depth, mood and being able to emphasise emotion through a photo. Nowadays, whenever I find myself creating on an overcast day I get so happy as I know I have to really get the creative thinking flowing to create contrast in other ways. “

“I discovered my love for photography in 2016 when my son was born. My husband gifted me my first camera, and what began as a simple hobby quickly turned into a passion. About a year later, I took a leap of faith and started my small business—and I’ve been grateful for every moment since.
Over the years, I’ve truly fallen in love with in-home lifestyle, newborn, and family photography. My style is warm, candid, and deeply emotional. My hope is that when families look back on their photos years from now, they’ll remember exactly how they felt in those fleeting moments—especially the magic of welcoming a new baby.
My creative process is very relaxed and connection-focused. I gravitate toward natural, lifestyle sessions where there’s minimal posing and families can simply be comfortable in their own homes. I believe the signature elements of my work are the warmth, cohesion, and storytelling you see throughout each gallery—something I strive to deliver consistently and with intention.
If I could photograph one thing for the rest of my career, it would be newborns and their families. I never feel like I’m “working” when I’m documenting a new baby and their parents—especially first-time moms and dads. Watching families grow and capturing those beginnings will always be my greatest joy.
My style has certainly evolved over the years—starting bright and airy, then moving into darker, moodier tones—but I’ve finally found my home in the warm, heartfelt look that defines my work today.”
